The pieces are removed in pairs - i.e. by selecting two identical tiles and clicking on them. However, there is a twist that makes it more complex and interesting: At least one side has to be free in order for a tile to be removed. Thus, there cannot be a "neighboring tile" on both sides of a piece. You can combine tiles from different layers, but again, only if one the sides is free.

Since it can be difficult to get an overview of the tiles on the board, there are numbers in the top right corner that can help you find pairs. Furthermore, there is either a grey or a green marking around a tile, depending on whether you can use it, i.e. whether it has at least one side free or not.

The different layers also have slightly different color shades to help you distinguish them from one another.

You win Spigos during the game when you remove tiles with little gold symbols. When you have removed all the tiles you are awarded with a jackpot spin which can result in a lot of Spigos or real money.
