Treasure Hunter

Treasure Hunter is a nice solitaire which is easy to learn but hard to master. The purpose of Treasure Hunter is to collect jewels by playing a combination of different solitaires.

How to play

In the patience part of the game, you must remove all cards on the table to get to the next level. If the value of a card on the table is one higher or lower than the top card in the deck, the card is removed from the patience to become the new top card. This is called a match. For instance, if a seven is on top of the deck, you can remove a six or an eight from the table. This is independent of which colors the cards have, since only the value of the card determines, if the cards can match or not.

You match the card from the deck by clicking on a card on the table. If your card on the top of the deck does not match with any cards on the table, you can put down a new card on top by clicking on the other deck which contains cards that are facing down.

The patiences increase in difficulty level as they are being completed and also provide greater challenges through new and exciting patiences. The tracks you'll play on are randomly chosen, so you will never know which track will be the next.
If the deck of cards facing down is empty and you can't match more cards with your last turn card, the game will be over.

Jewels

Each time you match two cards that have the same suit, you will get a jewel in this suit, which will be placed in your box of jewels at the top right corner. If for example a black queen of spades is at the top of the deck, and you match it with a black knight of spades on the table, then you will receive a black jewel.

If you get three cards of same suit matched, you will earn a swap, which you'll need later. If you get three or more jewels in the same color in a row in the box of jewels, the squares with these jewels will be illuminated.
After a certain number of solitaires have been completed, new suits will be introduced, which can provide you with jewels in new colors.
When the solitaire is solved, you get a number of swaps, and if the box with jewels is full at the same time, you will pass on to the jewel game.

The Jewel game

In the Jewel game, you must swap jewels around to illuminate all the jewel's squares. This is done by getting three or more jewels in a row, like in the solitaire. Here you must use the swaps you earned during the solitaire. You do not necessarily need to get three in a row to use a swap. You can easily use several swaps to obtain three in a row. If you run out of swaps, you'll go back to the solitaire and thus have the chance to earn more swaps.

Jackpot spin

If all the squares are illuminated, you get a large jewel. The color of this jewel is determined by the most common color of the jewels in the box. This jewel will be placed in a piece of jewelry, and when this is full (contains three jewels), the power of the jewels will activate a Jackpot spin.
Once you have a large jewel, you can choose to save it. The game will then shut down and you will start with your saved jewels the next time you play the game again. You can also choose to play on, then you don't save your jewels. Please note that you only get the option to save once you receive a large jewel, and if you have chosen to use it, it is not saved anymore.
Some colors give you a bigger jackpot, which is also the case with more jewels of the same color. Since it is the colors of the jewels in the piece of jewelry, which determines the value of the Jackpot spin, the jackpot values will only be displayed when a jackpot spin is started.
